The Altai is the centerpiece of Nidecker's new boot collection, offering high-end features and freeride-ready support at an unbeatable price.
It's built around an asymmetrical upper that adapts perfectly to the binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and dual dials, allowing you to independently control the upper and lower sections.
Below, our lightweight BFT Gravity 2.0 outsole provides impressive cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe cap to enhance grip when hiking on ice and rocks.
We have softened the connection between the outsole and the shoe via a molded section that we call the transition zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in the heel of your binding.
A durable rubber print on the toe protects the boot and adds an extra touch of style.
Inside, there's a new thermoformable Silver liner, allowing you to customize the fit if needed, but it's comfortable right out of the box. The Altai is a semi-rigid model with plenty of lateral support, making it ideal for digging trenches on trails or gliding through forests with pinpoint accuracy .
Ready for anything, built to withstand. From the park to the podium, H4 withstands the impacts of the most demanding riders. Effortless and quick, the Coiler rapidly fills the gap in the laces, thus increasing the speed of entry into the boot.
The Boa® Mid Power Dual Zone uses a Boa® Coiler on the tongue, for more strength and power, and the mid-power dial on the side. This configuration offers independent adjustment of the upper and lower zones, a perfect fit and perfect support. Uses the TX3 lace for optimal precision, responsiveness, and support.
An additional layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and anatomical arch, while the more comfortable EVA provides more flexibility in the forefoot. A silicone print adds traction to the fleece-lined insole.
Completely redesigned, this lining is pressure-free; The closure is achieved via the flap fixed inside the shell. This also makes putting on and taking off the lining easier. To prevent the tongue from rotating, we added Velcro patches on both sides to hold everything in place. There is a custom flexible zone around the toes for room to move, 8mm of PE foam and additional PU support around the outside for added rigidity.
